The Guardian, offers the same feature set as the original Guardian P139.  It has the ability to detect through an under-mattress sensor, the changes in the user's shallow movement rate (the movement associated with the rise and fall of the chest).  Allowing alarm notifications to be raised if these movements increase or decrease in frequency and with adjustable control for how long the Guardian needs to stop seeing any shallow movements before an alarm is raised.

The overall feature set of the Guardian include shallow movement, repetitive movements, excess moisture or bed vacation.

With the aid of an App, the caregiver can now see a time logged insight into the user's activity and display it in a visual format via easy-to-read graphics.  This hugely helps the caregiver in personalising the alarm parameters for their unique users' requirements.  This allows for much less false alarms. improving the user's independence and dignity.

Having this visual information at your fingertips gives the caregiver increased confidence in the technology.  The Guardian also includes a history of alarms and other events, with up to 8000 events which will provide over a year of alarm history.

If the Guardian indicates any alerting condition, the caregiver will be notified by either an Pager or nursecall/telecare system.  

The Guardian benefits from an improved failsafe warning system.

As well as being revolutionary technology, being battered powered removed the risk of damaged or accidentally removed power  supplies  much more flexibility with installation.  It can be fitted discreetly to a wall, bedside table, or it can be provided with a convenient hook so it can be hung over the side of the bed or headboard.
